DRESSING CHILDREN Skip the bulky coats in colder months. They hide shape and movement. Instead, layer with sweaters, vests, or light jackets for warmth and style. COMFORT IS KEY If you're uncomfortable in what you're wearing, it will show. Wear what makes you feel comfortable! Choose outfits that make you feel comfortable and relaxed. DRESS TO IMPRESS (the camera) Think timeless. Outfits that photograph well are polished but still true to your personality. COLORS Cool and neutral tones photograph beautifully and let your expressions shine. Creams, maroons, greens, cool or deep blues, and even black all work wonderfully. Aim for a coordinated look without being too "matchy". BE WEATHER-READY Dress appropriately for the season! Bundle up in the winter (layers instead of bulky jackets or puffy coats), and choose breathable fabrics for humid summer days. Comfort + practicality = flattering photos.

I will do whatever I can to make sure you feel comfortable during your session! You'll be surprised how fast time goes. One thing I like to do is play music of your choice on a speaker. Connect your phone, press play, and be you!

I take a lifestyle approach to my sessions - candid and natural shots in real environments. Natural light. Real moments. My style is moody, warm, and earthy. I strive to show emotion through the editing process I take each and every photo through individually. In the end, your gallery will make you feel the authentic moments you felt throughout your session/wedding day with me all over again!

Your smile, your positive attitude, and if there are any special keepsakes you'd like to capture in your photos. Staying hydrated is important, so bring water (or any clear drink). For Babies + Children: - Mess-free snacks for the little ones that are food motivated and love a treat! - Wipes/napkins just incase - Please skip colored foods or drinks to avoid accidental spills on clothing

This is important, but don't stress over it. My top priority is safety both on the roads or during your session. If rain or snow makes driving unsafe, we'll reschedule for another day. I also won't shoot if the temperature dips below 0 degrees, especially with little once involved. The risk of frostbite is not worth it. BUT, that said, don't underestimate winter shoots - they can be an absolute blast! With the right layers, they're cozy, playful, and make for some of the most magical photos. I am not afraid of a little light rain, clouds, or small flakes and you shouldn't be either. These conditions result in dreamy lighting!
